MoneyMe.kids is designed from the ground up to protect kid privacy and keep families safe.

No kid email or password

Kids access MoneyMe.kids through QR code pairing. Parents generate the code; kids scan it. No child email address or password is ever required.

No analytics SDKs

MoneyMe.kids does not use third-party analytics SDKs in the mobile apps. We do not track kid behavior for advertising or profiling purposes.

No crash SDKs

MoneyMe.kids does not use third-party crash reporting SDKs in the mobile apps. We rely on first-party operational data to maintain service health.

No ads or social features

MoneyMe.kids does not show ads, social feeds, or child-targeted upsells. The kid app is focused solely on showing the kid's virtual balance and requests.

Minimal kid data collection

MoneyMe.kids collects only the data necessary to operate the service:

Kid profile information: Display name, optional birth year, and optional avatar - only what parents provide to identify the kid within the family.
Transaction history: Deposits, withdrawals, interest, and allowance records that make up the virtual ledger.
Device pairing: Information needed to pair and manage kid devices.
Notifications: Push notification tokens for sending kid notifications when enabled.
Support and operations: Technical records needed for security, reliability, and legal/privacy operations.

We do not collect kid data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or sale to third parties.

Parent control

Parents have full control over their family's MoneyMe.kids experience:

Device management: Parents can see all paired kid devices and revoke access at any time.
Notification control: Parents can mute kid request notifications if needed.
Data export: Parents can request a full export of their family's data.
Account deletion: Parents can request full hard deletion of their family's data.

What MoneyMe.kids does not do

MoneyMe.kids does not sell child personal information.
MoneyMe.kids does not show ads to kids.
MoneyMe.kids does not include social features, friend lists, or public profiles.
MoneyMe.kids does not use behavioral analytics to profile kids.
MoneyMe.kids does not send marketing emails to kids.
MoneyMe.kids does not allow kids to make purchases or move real money.

Virtual by design

MoneyMe.kids is intentionally virtual. It does not hold, move, invest, or pay real money. This design choice:

Keeps the product simple and focused on learning.
Avoids regulated financial product complexity.
Ensures parents remain in full control of real-world money decisions.
Reduces the data and risk profile compared to real-money products.
